Lululemon Size Restrictions?

I am all for women feeling good and having confidence about themselves, but when it comes to wearing Lululemon pants in public, the need for weight/size restrictions has become blatantly apparent. You know those pants: tight and spandexy, the ones that have the ability to mold cellulite into a nicely shaped buttock, yeah those ones.

Anyways, Lululemon has the responsibility to society to start placing restrictions on who they sell their garments to. Too many times have I been minding my own business and then all of a sudden blinded by a 210-Ib woman in Lululemons that are 20 sizes too small.

Lululemon needs to start placing restrictions on who shops in their stores, much like the restrictions that already exist on who can ride roller coasters. Imagine how much better and safer the world would be if there was a waist size restriction for people who buy Lululemons. I know I would sleep better at night, how about you?

I agree, there is a definite need for roller coaster type restrictions on who can buy and wear Lululemons.

Great idea!!!

Lululemon Hater

Lululemon Hater,

U R An Idiot,

You speak the truth!

This is hilarious shit. I love this guy's content. I actually still have my own site in which I blog (infact, exactly like this) but ranting and being bitter got boring after a while. It just gets to you and your friends ditch you.

Just a bit of a heads up. :)

Anonymous 1,

I know I do.

Anonymous 2,

First off this isn't really a blog, I just didn't know what else to call it.
Second I have no friends to lose.
Third I have been bitter for 26yrs & I still find shiat to be bitter about and have fun with it.

Thanks for the heads up, both are appreciated.

Bitter Guy,

I came across your site while searching for lulu pants.

Who are you to judge? You are probably an overweight, balding, lonely, fat man that has to pay women for sex.

Hey Bitter Guy, keep up the good work. Lululemon is worn by people who think they are on the "cutting edge" of fashion when they are really following every other idiot with more money than taste. Hey Lululemmings, Lulemon won't make your ass smaller, it won't make you more athletic and it won't make you lose weight. Actually, I just registered the name www.lululemming.com today. Now I have to come up with some content.

omg ok i know that some people dress in clothes that are terribly too small or rlly ugly and stuff but its there right to decide what they want to wear because if lulu lemon rlly did make size restrictions that would make everone feel fat and even if that person is they dont need to be reminded every second of there life. that was just like rlly harsh bitter guy.

Bitter Guy,

I have no idea what you are complaining about....just because you may not apprecaite the beauty that comes in all shapes and sizes, GET OVER IT!!! Personally if you aren't happy with what you see don't look...but I imagine you are singing a different tune when you see someone more your "type" sporting lululemon.....

Just a Thought!!

YOU ARE WAY MESSED UP. YOU BIGOT. INTELLIGENCE IS SPARCE; OBVIOULY YOU WERE SPARED. WAY TO ENCOURAGE EATING DISORDERS; BULEMIA AND ANORXIA ARE INDEED THE NUMBER ONE KILLERS OF ALL MENTAL ILLNESSES--OFTEN BROUGHT ON BY CULTURAL BIAS AND DISCRIMINATION. OH WAIT, MAYBE PEOPLE IN "YOUR WORLD" ARE FREE OF THOSE TOO...WAY TO CREATE AN ETHNOCENTRIC/LIFECENTRIC WORLD. DON'T KNOW IF YOU ARE AMERICAN, BUT IF YOU ARE I BET YOU HAVE A CONFEDERATE FLAG FLYING.

I completely agree with you. People buy clothing that flatter themselves, I do not see why some squeeze themselves into the tightest garments you can buy and think it looks pretty good on them. I know when I look at someone who is slightly bigger than a majority of teenage girls you see these days, I do not notice that they are in fact bigger if they are wearing something in their proper size. On the other hand, it is quite a lot easier to spot if an individual is sporting pieces of clothing that are a couple sizes too small.

I'm totally with Bitter Guy. This is not about encouraging eating disorders or killing self confidence. It's about encouraging people to dress appropriately for their body style which by the way for the fat person would build more confidence than to see people staring at you because you look hideous in you lulu's. It is just as offensive to me to see a 200lb woman poking out of a pair of lulu's as it is to see someone picking their nose in public or horking on the sidewalk. I don't care how nice a person you are or how good you are "inside", all the "inside goodness" in the world isn't going to make a 200lb-er look better in her lulu's just because she's a good person and frankly if my 180lb girlfriend went out in a pair I'd tell her their not for her to save her further embarrasement. Lulu's are no more made for fat people than speedo's are for hairy Italian men

Tim San agrees, I have been offended on many times while walking down the street.

Girls that do not use small Lulus should not be buying them or wear in public. That only my opinion.

Lululemon is an extremely bad and unpleasant place to work. What a mess they have inside the company. They appear to be a sensitive company on the outside, but it's 100% rotten inside.

Lululemon is an extremely bad and unpleasant place to work. What a mess they have inside the company. They appear to be a sensitive company on the outside, but it's 100% rotten inside.

I actually work for the company.
The bottom line is that we're an athletic wear company MEANT for people living healthy and active lifestyles. Womens clothing is only stocked to size 12, which is smaller than most department store brands will stock these days (up to 14 usually.

If fatties are walking around in them and looking ridiculous, it's not our fault. I've seen it a few times as well and there is nothing more ridiculous than seeing a fat person in yoga-related spandex clothing walking around in McDonalds. But by only stocking up to size 12, there is nothing we can do to prevent someone who's a size 20 from buying it and convincing themselves that it fits.

And as to the anonymous guy who would tell his 180 pound girlfriend not to wear it...that's harsh mean and you don't deserve her whether she's 180 pounds or not.

Wow Tiffany how close minded of you to think that there are no healthy, active women who wear over a size 12. I myself wear a size 10 or 12 in your clothes and by all standards am a very healthy and strong athlete. In my expierence, its the very small size 2 women who may be thin but are not strong and healthy and are really very out of shape. I'd rather be fit and muscular and wear a size 10 then be thin and weak and wear a size 2. You're just as bad as the ignoramous who started this whole debate.

Cat- I'm with you. I'm a strong fit woman, and I do fit into Lulumon's because I'm 5"4 an under 130 lbs. But it's all muscle. Muscle vs fat. height, bone frame, it all fills out in a unique way. At my height I could diet into a size 2, but I wouldn't have the power I have at an 8. I love feeling my own strong female power. It's cool to see other powerful female bodies.
This entire style of clothing looks good on athletes of all sizes. In the end it's about athletes vs. the non-athlete (trying to cop the look.) "As if" doesn't do it. Get strong, then by the pants.

What a terrible advert the person who "works for the company" is. It sees the guy who says it's rotten inside it spot on. Fatties??? Nice.

ok i'm a big lululemon fan i'm 5'2'' and i fit a size 2 i could fit a size 4 if i want them loose and i agree that there should be a thing sayin u acually have to fit the pants to buy em. but the people who work there can't just say sorry ur to fat to shop hear! if they did no one would go there.
P.S. lululemon is a friendly place and thats y people like it there

Funny....fatness is the only socially acceptable bias allowed. It's interesting how many slams and jokes are made at the expense of over-weight people and it isn't perceived as shocking (to most) or socially reprehensible. THIS is truly shocking and reprehensible to ME. You would never make such racial or religious slurs in this way with such wide-spread societal support. The slams that I read towards NORMAL weight women are both insensitve, short-sighted and judgemental! Very sad state of things. Madison Avenue and the Hollywood Machine are warping American compassion and common sense. It's becoming a shallow, small-minded world. sigh.

I am sittin here readin this and laughin to myself cause the truth is bitter guy could really care less about who does or does not wear lulus...in fact he probably just found out what they were the day he wrote this blog...he is just this little man who sits in front of the computer all day and thinks that by startin such a ridiculous blog that he would get a rise out of people and in all actuality reading all of the responses that he gets is what he looks forward to everyday..he more than likely tries to come up with a new stupid remark every six months or so and posts them so he can find joy in seeing how many people he can get worked up....my opinion...live life to its fullest u only live once so do whatever makes u feel good....say whatever makes u feel good...and WEAR whatever makes u feel good....because honestly if we cared what everyone else thought than we would all be pretty mixed up cause nobody thinks the same..thats what makes us unique!

Attention all fattie haters....Get over yourselves! I'm a 200 + lb woman, and I've been looking at lulus online. And guess what, just cause you may think I'm too fat to wear them, I'll buy 'em anyway, cause it's really not about you is it? I don't want these pants for how they look, I want them because they're really comfortable, well-made good quality pants. If you don't want to see my fat butt wearing them, LOOK AWAY!!!

So, what's next...are we gonna make ugly people cover their faces when they walk down the street?

I would love to be able to buy a pair of yoga pants in my size, but unfortunately the skinny biotches and fattie haters of the world have decided that once you're above a size 12, you can no longer be in style. Squeezing my butt into something Tommy Hilfiger doesn't want me to wear is a protest, and it's supposed to make you uncomfortable. Next time, complain to lululemon about not making big enough sizes for all the fat chicks who want to wear them.

I can not beleive with all that is happening in today's world you take the time to complain about what people are wearing!! I happen to be a size 12 and took great offense to the comments made (210lbs, size 20). Maybe the tall skinny size 4 who started this blog should have a little more respect for others and perhaps then she would not be so bothered by what they are wearing!
If anyone shoul dbe complaing about something perhaps it is us size 12 girls - who are tired of looking at thongs sticking out of skinny girls pants - at least we are covered!

i strongly agree with moose jaw grl becuase i am too a girl that is 200+ lb and ive lost 43 pounds and i am 14 years old and iam in shape,i do better than most of the skinny girls in my class and i am in volleyball too. i think that women that are over weight shouldn't be afride to go in sports and wear lulu clothes! poeple have rights to and i think that if you see some one over wieght, go up to them and be there friend and get them into sports or something, dont stand there and be discusted! help them! i think that any one can wear what they want and that they should make bigger sizes! but i do believe that bigger girls should wear things that fit them and but not be afrid to look beautiful too! and i do under stand that us bigger girls need to respect other people eyes but still why dont you put yourself in our posision and got trough what we have to, i think this is fucking bullshit and people jugde to many poeple! thats all i have to say! and i was lookin to buy a pear of pants and i saw this and i had to write something down because this is fucking dumb!

hey evry one i think u guys are funny c ya

Hai. I'm Gerard. And I like beans. And hairy italian men.

I want to comment to the lady who brought up the fact that obesity is the only form of socially accepted bias there is. Obesity is a CHOICE for the most part. People make fun of them and criticize them the same way they would a drug addict. Race, is not a choice. Most things aren't choices, but you CHOOOOSE to eat 20 double cheeseburgers a day, and you choose to gain weight and be criticized. It's called self control. Try it sometime! The rest of us don't want to see your fat rolls bulging over the edge of your pants. I'm sorry, I'm not usually a mean person, but the fact that our country is looked at as having mostly big fat lazy slobs inhabiting it, is starting to get to me. GROSS. Enough already.

Anyone should be able to wear lululemon pants no matter their size! Grow up idiot!

omg! anyone can wear lululemons...i cant believe you people!

I am 5'6'', 155 pounds, and a very muscular size 12! I am also the proud mother of 4 children who support the fact that their mom goes to the gym 6 days a week, and does weights and spinning classes. I can outlift and outrun most of the other ladies in my classes, including the size "zeroes" who are too thin to do anything! I look fit and strong in my size 12 Lulus! The fact that this size sells out first in the stores tells us all something, doesn't it! ...oh, and by the way, I teach phys-ed and coach several sports teams and am an advocate of exercising, eating healthfully and loving the body type that God gave you! I have also seen a lot of cellulite on so-called "skinny" people, yet I have none!

Haha it was pretty funny reading all the comments and everything, especially since i have nothing better to do lol.
I might as well add to all the jabber. Im 5' 7", 136lbs and a tanked size 10. Volleyball, Basketball, Swimming (racing and synchro) are all on my resume, while one of my friends whos probably 100lbs and slightly shorter than me can barely hold herself up in the water. if i want to wear lululemon pants then i will damnit, and i dont care whether or not i look as good as she might. Theyre called athletic pants for a reason... cause theyre for ATHELETES, who have ATHLETE BODIES. those little twiggy dance chicks can wear them too but, cmon... theyre little twiggy dance chicks. That being said, people should atleast TRY to stick to something relatively close to their size, just for comforts sake. clothes that are too small suck.

lululemon pants are for yoga . so fat girls if you not doing yoga dont wear the pants.

plan and simple . i search "lululemon pants and fat girls" and found this site, glad to see someone taking a stand against fat girls nad yoga pants.

even if u dont do yoga simple test, "if you cant see ur toes, dont wear the pants"

uhuhuhuhuhuh...

Lululemon yoga pants do run a bit small........ seems like a trend in fashion these days.

Spandex: It's a privlage. NOT a right.

open your mind.

200+ lb people should go on a diet before wearing these...have some respect for yourselves and realize you look ridiculous.

hehehehehe, u r all too funny. Here I am looking for lululemon sizes and find this....I am in Montreal.....not skinny and not fat......but so what.....

me again from Montreal...bought my lulu's and luv them. Now I understand what everybody is talking about...go for it skinny or fat....by the way, they sell them for men too.

Being a size 8/10 I sometimes feel self conscious wearing Lululemon pants out in public. It blows my mind that overweight women wear them out! It's one thing to wear them at home and feel comfortable but that's where they need to draw the line...

I happen to know some 'overweight' people who have lulu pants and look fabulous in them. I can't believe you would say that there should be a restriction on people who buy lululemon clothes

I dont 100% agree with this. I think that if you are 200 pounds and if you are considering buying lululemon clothes think wisely. These clothes are really expensive and if you just want to buy lululemon just because a lot of people have them, than dont buy them if you are just going to be worrying about what people are thinking of you. I am 5'10, slim but not pin skinny and can fit into both lululemons pants and sweaters. Overall i am just trying to say buy clothes that you are comfortable in and get clothes that actually fit your figure and dont show every single curve on your body.

Can't we all just get along ?

you guys are ridiculous.. I am 21, 5'5, 125 lbs, and a size 4 Lululemon. I agree with the men in here, you ladies who are overweight really should avoid Lululemon gear. This is out of respect for yourself and the appearance you portray to the public. This is directed purely to those women who are large sizes due to obesity. Also, if you are 200lbs +, it is not all muscle mass unless you are a fitness model, so I don't think it's fair to be coming in here, commenting and putting thin girls down due to yoru insecurities.

And BTW, being 125 lbs. and a size 4, I can lift more than most bigger girls I've seen in the gym, with curls at 20 lbs, free weight pressing at 50 lbs, and lunges/ squats/ and steps at 40 lbs.

I agree with him, just because they are spandex, doesnt mean they SHOULD stretch that much on bigger people. I think it's revolting. People should wear properly fitted clothes. Period.

Wow, you're really impressive. It's true what you say but how you say it makes you sound really nasty.

Ladies, if you don't like a guy with plumbers butt, then don't wear lulu if you can't pull it off.
Save the drama fo' your mama.

Hi.
This is shawn. I am 23 and the topic Lululemon Size this have to reduce from women it must be cured by certain regular exercises and gymnastics and if you dont do it means, This is out of respect for yourself and the appearance you portray to the public.

Size 28 Clothing

Hi there!

Im a size 16, I have played hockey for 7 years, have been in a rowing club for 5 years, and dragonboat team for 2, and have been a yoga instructor for 2 years...

Perhaps instead of judging people for being too big, you should judge yourself for being so judgemental.

I think you should be supporting these girls, maybe wearing these clothes will make them feel better and give them the push they need to get into shape, and if thats not what they want to do, then who cares. Nobody makes you look.

Lulu lemon isn't about making skinny girls better than anyone else, theyre about brainwashing people into buying there over priced garbage. So, skinny and big girls who wear that junk should be ashamed for being so buyable.

I don't know ANY yoga instructor that does wear it, including myself!

For comic effect, change the '210' to '150'. 210 is not a possible weight for women to achieve. But a few fatties can weigh up to 150.

Time for a diet gals.

Also, I saw a guy in Lulumon. That shit should be illegal.
